Account and organization data (like your name, email, avatar, and your role in an organization) — used to create your account, let you sign in, show your profile, and manage team permissions.
Billing information (like subscription details and payer contact from PayPal) — used to start and manage your subscription, handle renewals, and provide invoices/receipts.
Service usage information (high‑level analytics about views and interactions with published assets) — used to count scans, understand what's working, and improve performance and reliability.
Files you upload (3D models and images) — used to show your products in 3D/AR and make them available to people you've shared with.
Notification recipients (organization owner/admin email addresses) — used to send you essential service updates like “your asset is ready.”

How we use data

Provide the Service: set up your account, keep you signed in, and display your assets.
Secure the Service: prevent abuse, enforce permissions, and protect accounts.
Billing: start/manage subscriptions and handle payments and receipts.
Notify you: send essential operational emails (no marketing spam).
Improve performance: understand product usage at a high level to make Sparell faster and more reliable.

Legal bases (where applicable): to perform our contract with you (provide the Service), to comply with law (for example, tax/financial records), and our legitimate interests (security, service improvement). We do not sell personal information.

Sign‑in cookies

Keep you signed in and secure the account experience. These are essential to run Sparell.

Preferences

A small setting to remember if the sidebar is open or closed on your device.

Subscription flow

Helps you pick up where you left off if you start a subscription and sign in later.

Local/session storage

Used for convenience and analytics within Sparell (for example, saving your email during signup or a private, random session ID for counting views). Our analytics respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

Third‑party services

Supabase

We use Supabase for database, authentication, and storage. Supabase operates multiple global hosting regions (including Singapore), and your data may be stored in any region as needed to provide the Service. Vercel

PayPal

We use PayPal to run subscriptions and handle payments securely.

Resend

We send essential service emails (for example, “Your asset is ready”) to the relevant team members and organization owners.

Calendly

Loaded only when you open the scheduling popup on our marketing pages.

Public vs private access

Some asset files and published viewer pages are public when you share their links. Organization data like billing, team settings, and non‑published assets stays private and access‑controlled.

Security

Role‑based access so only the right people can view or change data.
Extra verification (two‑factor) for sensitive actions when you've enabled it.

Data retention

We keep information as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business and legal reasons (for example, records related to payments). You can delete assets you no longer need, and you can delete your account (subject to any subscription/ownership steps in the app).

Your rights

Access and update your profile information.
Delete your account (after required steps in the app, like ending a personal subscription).
